I bleed Purple and Gold...but that display yesterday had to be the WORST football I have seen them play in 10 years! Don't wanna hear about a QB controversy, when you have an aging, untalented o-line like that. No run blocking. No pass blocking. That was tough to sit thru.480659.jpg

If that was the Ravens' O-Line, then the Chargers yesterday in the second half was a double door with no lock.

Hey Marty, feel free to mix in a screen pass to LT maybe once a game...

I'll trade you Baltimore's O-Line for my Lions O-line?

Or Kyle Boller for Joey Harrington? They're equally ****...

The guy I was matched up against in the fantasy league this week put Brett Favre on the bench and put Joey Harrington in. -1.00 points.

What was HE thinking?

Sad thing is....Boller didn't even play this week.

I know, Anthony Wright did, but he's probably better than Boller.

I think SF fugged up when they drafted Alex Smith too. I don't think he'll ever make it in the NFL and SF wasted a lot of loot on him.

Say they get the 1st pick again... do you take Matt Leinart? ****, you have to... even with a ton of money locked up in a QB who will never be good. They should have drafted Braylon Edwards.

Nah... the black and gold LOST a superbowl. You're 4-1. While the 49ers are 5-0. We go to win it.

Too bad we won't be going for a while...

I think Boller is better than Wright, but that is not saying much! Who is the big all pro left tackle for the Ravens...they always rave about him when they play on TV....is he hurt?

Is the tackle I am trying to think of Johnathan Ogden?

What is with him?

The tackle you are thinking of is Jonathan Ogden. He is not hurt...he is old. The prob with their O-Line is that they have made no upgrades in about 3 years. All 5 of them are over 30, fat and slow.

We all want big bodied blockers on the line...but when they are slow and have forgotten everything they ever learned about technique...they need to get some pine time. Billick tried to spin this during training camp and convince the fans that the front five was serviceable. However, doesn't matter how you dress up a Hoover....it still SUCKS!

It's been a while since I've been on this board. This is definitly a subject that is close to my heart. After fearing the worst there is a glimmer of hope that the Ravens might beat the Jets...in convincing fashion. All the the dreams in the world won't change the fact that the O-line and QB will never cut it.

it looks like the Vikings Offensive line too.

I'd take Joey Harrington over Kyle Boller any day of the week. The Lions problem isn't Joey. its their offensive line. no QB in the NFL would be good if they onlt had 1 second to make decisions. give Joey 3 seconds to find a receiver and he's pretty good.
