She was 19 when she walked on screen and told Bogart to ".....Put your lips together and blow". She was Classy, sensuous, seductive, tough, and mildly good looking. She was also what every actress under 30 trys to be but, save for maybe Uma Thurman, they all fail miserably at.

Uma is the only one on the screen today that even approaches Lauren Bacall! Uma is now over 30, but that doesn't matter both of them have style and class on the big screen!
