"personal responsibility"?

But if we believe in that, then we can't blame the government for not feeding clothing evacuating and being there yesterday. who will we blame for not taking care of us

Personal Responsibility? Dang Julian, now you're just talking nonsense.

You mean to tell me if I live in a flood plain, I should buy flood insurance? And if I don't, it is NOT the government's responsibility to rebuild my house? Better than it was before? And give me credit accounts so I can buy Louis Vuitton handbags?

Now you're talking crazy.

Hey, if it's on Uncle Sam's dime I could learn some 'elitism'!

Frankly, I am a wallet man myself. Never carried a 'man-purse'. Unless you count 'fanny packs'?

Two people fraud the government and buy handbags, so now it's the entire groups fault? Come on man.

Personal responsibility? Yes, I agree, but when you have nothing, how do you be responsible for something like flood insurance. Don't forget that some of these people are not the black, welfare, Cadillac driving, single moms that Ronald Reaguns used to talk about. Some of them are VERY poor Lousiana poor people. I'm talking dirt poor. Don't you remember Bubba in the movie Forest Gump? That type of poor.

Tax cuts to the rich have made the poor even more poor.

It's sad that we don't take care of our impoverished better. We slap them a check and call it good.

Poverty= bad.

I got that adroomi. But what would you do about it? Do you have a semi plan?

Anybody can identify poverty and say it sucks. How do you change it?

I don't have a plan. I'm just not smart enough to know what to do. I wish our policymakers had one.

It's more then two. The strip clubs in Houston have seen a lot of these (according to the newspapers). If I want a lap dance at the strip club i have to:

A. Pay for it myself.

B. Find a new place to live (my wife is friends with

the lady that runs the place)! LOL

I have a plan. Does that mean I 'm smarter then you 8track? God knows I'm not as funny...
