I have been a lifetime Anglophile . . . I am interested in all things British. I've studied the UK, the royal family, palaces, castles, and northern England villages for years. The British isles, and their history are fascinating, in spite of their weather. I've never been there, but hope to someday. What country would you visit if you could go anywhere in the world?

Scotland...love Scotch whiskey...would tour some of the distilleries

I would also like to tour some cigar plantations/facotories...DR or Nic...Honduras would be fine with me

Other than experiencing something directly related to my strongest hobbies/interests, I'll stay at home. All I'd want to do on vacation is sit on my ass and relax with good drink and a good cigar...home lets me do that anytime I can find the time

one of our family friends, an irish lass, took her two daghters 14 and 16, rented a car and drove around the irish countryside.

for two weeks they just wandered and had a great time. the pictures they should me of the country side were right of the discovery chanel.

just a thought.
