As often happens, there seems to be a lot of new traders on cbid lately . . . . some of you may be new to trading, and looking to get your feet wet with anyone who'll trade with you . . . . .

Well, the vets here at cbid, would like to warn you about a very lecherous, pathetic puke who preys on newbies here . . . . .

If anyone contacts you regarding a trade, and their mailing address is a PO box in Warren Pennsylvania, let a Vet know about it ASAP . . . . this dirtbag shows up every few months, and will often contact the newbies via email, so as to keep out of the public eye . . . . . I cannot mention enough how despicable this POS is, and his antics have ticked off many a good trader here . . . . . He'll steal cigars, he'll take the bands off of good cigars, and put them on crap cigars, he'll take your gifts and resell them on auction sites - he is the worst form of lowlife you'll see around here . . . . .

He has gone by the handles Gamelover, Pepsiman, Sanepimp, Antiquegunparts and others . . . .

The bottom line is - be aware of anyone who contacts strictly via email, and won't post at cbid, and do not do any trading with a PO box holder in Warren PA . . . . If he does show up, make sure to warn others . . . . .

I'd hate to have a person excited about a new hobby and then get zapped by this loser.

I've traded with that guy before and I got a load of gars that were not what I call premiums, but he DID include some that actually were worth the trade. I was not dissatisfied with the trade, but not impressed either. He wanted 10 of my Cohiba "Yellow Bands" and I got about 25 cigars. He contacted me later and we split a box of cigars from another site which is now out of biz.

You must have been stung before by this guy. I have since emailed him several times and have never heard back. I'm guessing he's either lurking silently, or goes by another login.

Sorry if you had a bad experience. We do put much blind trust in our fellow BOTL, and should reasonably expect to be treated fairly.

I have made some successful trades using this board and those who trade with me know exactly what they're getting. I even pad the pack a little with a surprize or two.

For you newbies, don't be afraid to make a trade or two. If you get stung, SING OUT. But don't let the bad apples deter you from having a great time with your hobby. Just try and be the better person. It'll always pay off.

I've never done "buisness" with the person of discussion but he's been around the block on many sites. His screen names and addys from the town of Warren, PA are big flags at all of the sites. (If you're stand up B/SOTL who happens to live in Warren, PA and no one wants to play with you, this is the reason). Just mention Warren, PA and see the replies you get.

Sometimes he makes good trades only to lure you in and gain trust, then BAM! Someone gets smoked. There's too many good folks out there to deal with than this guy.

I'm a newbie to the fullest and just put a thread out there. am trying to make heads and tails out of it. how does this newbie trade work? my brother in law told me about it. i won my first bis on cbid got some rockey patel conn. k honsitia symph. and gerka ltd's. also have a few don kiki's and cuban crafters. i would greatly appreciate your help. you seem to be a thoughtful trader. thanks for any help

Remember how this guy works - he will fulfill some trades in order to gain trust, so not everyone who has dealt with him has been burned . . . .

. . . . He has used multiple screen names - and flat out DENIED being the man in question - yet his mailing address is exactly the same for all of them . . . how does one justify that? The proof is right here on cbid . . . . .

Newbie looking to get in trading........

My wife's father dies and left me a lot of cigars. I don't know too much about them, but I figure you guys are honest. The only ones I really like are the Macanudos. He didn't leave to many of these, but he had boxes upon boxes of Fuente OpusX and something like florfine sun grown. I think they are rotten though, because they all have yellow plastic and some have little white powdery granules.

Since I never traded cigars, I'm looking for someone in the Warren, PA area to help me out....take these off my hand and see if you can get any macanudos for them.

Funny, I traded with the guy also. He sent me 75 smokes. While not all premiums, they were agreed upon. I sent him a nice humidor plus some extras. He said he has been a disabled Vet since 97. Said he was in the Army. I can confirm the name and address are the same that everyone else is complaining about. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
