Beautiful!!! very nice

I have a Ruger MarkII .243 that has never seen deer blood. Our boss when i was framing houses got it for me for x-mas. One of these day i will take something with is. It a great shooter, but the trigger need a lot of work.. its wayyyyy to long! I did smoke a groundhog with is at 328 steps. A baby standing up at that!! one of my best shots !

Is it just me or is that a "really" short barrel?

Sweet piece. I have a Browning A-bolt II with a Leupold scope. Nothing quite like putting venison on the table for the family.

Its a little short, but not too short Dave. I can't remember exactly. I like a short barrel for tramping through the thickets.

The cool feature is at the barrel end, there is a muzzlebrake that turns on or off with a twist. (you would not want it on if resting on a car hood or something).

my son just dumped his Koho.

what Hog said - I have to use a 12 gauge with sabot slugs. If you hit a doe with it she lifts off the ground.

Hog,

Come up to Wisconsin. I believe you can use rifles here.
