I'm a huge Alabama fan.... with that being said, it was hard to celebrate the victory over #5 Florida on Saturday because of this 4th quarter injury to Tyrone Prothro......

For you doctors out there, can anyone give a guess at what his injury was???

I had something similiar...but was a sliding incident...i broke the tibula and tore my tendons...had to put screws in...

But this looks like its going to need a plate / rod / screws...i feel bad whenever i see these type of injuries...

I had someones ankle do that right in my face on a play at second...I almost hurled.

I dont know what was worse, the sound of his bones breaking in half 8 inches from my face, (Ill never forget that sound)or the blood curdling scream afterwords..

I was there. Just nasty and disheartening. Prothro told Bordie Croyle (Bama QB) today that'd he'd be back next year and he'll be shooting for the Heisman! Good kid - he left the field on a cart, pumping up the crowd, thengot into the tunnel and finally let the pain show.
