being an avid woodworker, and a young cigar afficion, I would like some opinions of what you all would see as a perfect humidor. exg..do you prefer a flip top case style, doors that open to pull out drawers, places for your accessories. etc.. any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

thanks

If you were to design your own humidor you must take into account the number of smokes you plan to age, the different sizes, and whether or not you want to keep them in the boxes or not. And just what type of humidification system you're going to use. Also you want to make it as convenient as possible to extract smokes without leaving the door/lid open too long like we often do when shopping for ice cream.

Have your "go to" smokes in a separate compartment for quick ready access without disturbing the sleeping premiums.

You and your cigars will have to sit down and discuss what's best for them and you. Remember to post a few pics on the pic board when you're done. Let us know.
