Glad Bush doesn't make policy over polls, or we'd be kissing most of the worlds' @ss.

Those polls are way off.

Bush is doing a fine job for a Democrat.

I don't want to get into a political debate but if you think that one guy in a democracy can cause everything that you "perceive" is wrong with the country, then you must be a lot smarter than me.

I just take care of my part of the universe (family) and if every body else did the same, no politician can effect your life.

I vote and do my duty but I try to get myself in a position that no matter what those knuckleheads do in office that I can still provide for my family and care for my family properly.

Rick, your running 3 weeks behind on these Poll Estiments... Besides Bush is in his final Term in office..

You had a better arguement with Miers being a Bush Legacy then you do with Poll Positions.. this ain't Nascar Weekend!

JPR, I would love to join you and Rick as you prance around the campfire in a state of distorted delirium but my business HAS been DIRECTLY affected by dubya.

I have enumerated them at length in the past.

ONE man CAN affect public policy.

Don't kid yourself.

No Offense meant! You overrate yourself, as I agree with you quite often! It is just you are so far off and out in left field most of the time that it is laughable! Also predictable!

Approve...disapprove...... it's all BS. Light up your favorite stogie, pour a 50 yr old brandy, sit down tonite and watch the sunset and contemplate how lucky you are to be living in a country where, even though s...heads rule (year after year), we can still do the aforementioned without fear.

To some no matter what shape the country is in,iffin it be their person in charge, all is A-Okay.

Iffin the person in charge ain't the guy they voted for, nothing will ever be right. They'll even bitch about a BJ,LOL. X

You guys missed the point.

It DOES matter who's in there.

Unfortunately, there's no real difference between the two parties at this time aside from the rhetoric.

Both are socialist with one favoring the rich and the other the poor.

Both are also putting our interests LAST as they jockey for the only thing that matters to them- POWER and $$$$$.

Any honest/politically incorrect candidate with ideas better have the money and constitution to weather attacks from the media as they paint him in an unfavorable light. I don't see that happening.

Almost everyone has a valid statement.

However, my point is that the President doesn't represent the "people" anymore. They are handcuffed by people that have the money and time to "lobby" and "influence" them.

That's why I take daddydicky's position (man I could make several comments but won't) that I am glad to live here and I work hard ever day and try to provide for my family the best I can.

That means I enjoy cheap beer and cheap cigars, so the wife and kids can have more.

That Cu-Avana and Rolling Rock is gonna taste good tonight after I put in my 12 hours here.

Have a good one everybody.
