OK.....Here is a draft of the rules. I'm not trying to be an anal jerk, just trying to get everything spelled out up front.........if anyone has comments, I would be glad to discuss before starting the pass.
Rules:
All participants must have completed at least two positive trades and have no negative feedback on CBid or eHerf. Applicants who are not sure if they qualify should email me at andyt at msicorporation dot com. I will accept vouching from FOGs in lieu of trade experience, but then would expect the FOGs to advise the newbie(s).
I am shooting for 10-15 people; first come first served; order may be re-arranged if handoffs are convenient.
Box will be shipped priority mail with insurance.
Please do not sit on the pass. If you have to hold it for more than a day or two, please let everyone know. The listing of smokes will be kept updated, so you can have your plays worked out before you receive the box.
Playing Rules:
a) ISOM/ISOM
b) Quantity does not equal quality; no trading up.
c) Sheath all naked smokes.
d) Provide box code, date, or approx date for ISOMs.
e) Values based on retail box price as determined by using the following references in the following order;

~Ask host or post inquiry.
f) Trade Rare for Rare – a CAO Italia does not trade for an 8-5-8 SG even though retail value may suggest it does. I am not opposed to using gouger pricing for estimating the value of very rare smokes. Examples of rare smokes;

g)Trade Limited Release or Rare for Limited Release. If the cigar is a limited production, low quantity, hard to find, one or twice a year stick, I consider it limited release. MSRP pricing applies, but please trade a comparably limited or rare cigar. Examples that I consider limited release;

n) If you are unsure, please post your proposal/question………..that said, I request that all BOTLs be respectful and helpful when it comes to reviewing proposed plays (we have all been unsure at one time or another).
o) Host will approve/disapprove all plays; and will do so discreetly if I am in disagreement. Anyone who has traded with me knows that I try to give more than I receive, so rest assured I will be as fair as possible. IMHO, we will not have any issues if common sense and courtesy are utilized.
