Who does this remind you of?

I finally got the picture/s. Most of them turned out to blurry since the tractor was in motion.

I love you Sledn... :o511672.jpg

You see this is why I never cut the grass when Sledn is around. I usually have a walkman in one hand and a cigarette in the other. LOL

Either the Unibomber, or he fell right out of Def Leppard's "Rock of Ages" video.

That's a good look, Wes.

Good luck for the remainder of the Series.

You have a yard? One large enough to require a riding mower? I don't even have a respectable house plant...

The world is my backyard and the universe is my playground...the only problem is that I always have to ask Mrs.Tank if I can go out to play..sigh

Wes, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I am both angry and sad.

Yesterday, I had to mow over 1/2 an acre with my lil' Toro? Why?

Because after about 1 month of "neglect" due to the Maryland drought, I couldn't start my green baby. I checked/cleaned the plugs, filters, carb, battery, and even added "fresh" gas.

I suspect the starter went bad on my MTD (2nd time in 5 years). Lots of juice but the engine turns slowly. I will be curious to see if my visiting tractor mechanic confirms my suspicion.

I estimate that the cost for a starter is about $125 and $35 to install, and maybe another $35 to clean the carb plus the $61 for the service call and then the miscellaneous yearly maintenance... It'll probably result in costs of $250- $300.

Wish I had the time to work on it myself.

Snif, snif, gotta go...

looks like i would win the race !!!!

no really, sorry to hear that. no problems with mine at all except the wifes ummm driving over things not of organic nature. had to replace all the pulleys off of the bottom of the motor and the belts. did it myself with alot of cursing to save money.

i use it year round with the plow on it so it doesnt sit very long
