I have a few thoughts on this. Unfortunately you are too turned off to listen to them.

When you are through posting your cartoons of terrorists, could you also post some photos of KKK members dragging black men through the streets by their feet behind pickup trucks? Or how about a gang rape of a 12 year old Latino girl? Make sure and label it "this is what Christians are all about."

It will make as much sense as this latest rampage you are on......

You'd have a point if:

1. Christian children cheered when they heard about the rape

2. The "Christian street" supported the actions of the KKK members

Neither is the case. If the moderate version of Islam that exists in places like Malaysia were ascendent, we wouldn't be having this discussion. This is an issue not because of racist Americans, but only because militant Islam poses a very real threat.

12 years ago an Islamic scholar told me that, with the fall of the USSR, militant Islam would come to pose the single greatest threat to Western civilization. I scoffed at his observation at the time - surely our military power far outweighs their capabilities. Since 10/12/2000 I have had reason to reassess my position.

A moderate muslim that reads and listens to the verbal diarreah that Jet is spreading these past two days will soon think, "well, I guess westerners really ARE a*sholes after all...."

1. I'm not convinced that jet has been posting "messages of hatred." He has been clearly expressing the danger posed by militant Islam.

2. I hereby ask every single moslem who reads this forum and is offended by this or any other post by jet to reply to this message. Please include your opinion of whether your impression of Americans was influenced by jet's posts. Thanks.

I have a UK born Indian with the last name of Hosain that is the VP of one of our America's divisions. After 35 years with another major corp he came to us last year. He brings with him a plethora of knowledge and skill.

I also HAD a retired US Navy Captain that came to us 6 months ago.

Two weeks ago in Manchester, England we had a dinner party. When Mr. Hosain got up to use the john, my retired Captain shouted across the room, "hey Saddam, get me another beer while you're at it."

Last week I dismissed the former Captain, and he can now go find another quarter Mil a year job.

I have no room for racial intolerance in my life or in my organization.

So I guess we don't need to be overly concerned with offending or skewing the impressions of moderate Muslims by our posts on this board.

In my 18 years in the Navy, I have never met a Captain that would even think about saying something like that.

Yes, there was alchohol involved. That and jealousy, and a bit of racism that was kept bottled up inside for 30 years I guess. The guy made a mistake, but I have no tolerance for that. It happens all the time. Professionals on this board even slip once in a while.....

I didn't know flight attendants could dismiss captains.

I have no idea why I keep reading some of the bull**** on here. Adroomi is onto something when he points out that not too many minorities post here.
