Perhaps I was a bit harsh on the boards. I certainly meant terrorists, and those who enable them . . . NOT all muslims.

It just infuriates me when someone suggests group hugs, ect . . . I am an easy going guy, moderate thought process, indifferent to the liberal left, or the conservative right, not into hate and predujice.

Someone started a "religion of peace" thread, and you painted a rosey picture that just didn't sit well with me . . . and it unleashed some pent up anger, and I let it flow . . .

I normally bite my tongue when it comes to hatred, bigotry and predujice on this board, but I have alot of anomosity against this subject that I have railed about over the last two days . . .

There is too much negativity associated with this subject for me to see the rainbows you are describing.

I guess I really stirred the pot and fanned the flames and just about every bit of that is what I try to avoid on these boards, less I get tagged as a "__________", or, a "___________", or quite possibly, a "___________" . . .

I have my own fears, anger, and prejudice as well. Sometimes I have to sit and think really hard before I go off half cocked on someone.....particularily someone "different than me."

It's a learning process.

There are people out there trying to kill us. Never forget that. Never forget also though, that there are even more people that don't want to........

In regards to my comment "forget what?" I hope you got the message. I think you did.

There was a sign above Jim Jones' dead body in Jonestown that read "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it." My biggest fear is that we've remembered the result, but forgetten the reasons and the ways to prevent it again.

We ALL have our prejudices . . . it's what makes us human. I could not live with myself if I let that take control, though . . . as far as the "Forget What" part, ... I knew were just jerking my chain . . . but, you really pissed some of the guys off. I laughed when I read those passages.
