depends on the dog.

If he is old, fat, out of shape or dead, probably not too far.

If he is young enough to run a long enough time he might not run in a straigt line. He might tend to zig-zag and never get to deep into the woods.

i had a beagle.....and when it took off into the woods running chasing a rabbit!!!!

whoa!

you'd hear him to the right...then to the left...up and down hills , and that could go on for what seemed like hours.....him barking the whole time!

Snoopy (yes i named him after the peanut's character)was a good rabbit dog!!!

Ok, I don't know the right trick answers to trick questions, but up is as far as the effect of gravity from the massive body that the object gravity is acting on is travelling away from to the point where other massive bodies exert more gravitational force than the original massive body and the object gravity is acting on becomes attracted by greater force from the new massive body than from the original massive body, causing up to then become down and down to become up.

Tuckersdad, Thank you lol

How far is up??? umm high?

It would depend on where you're standing. Up is a direction and not a height, so is that the answer?
