So I am sitting on the PC reading through the CBID forums and look at the window and there he is. Just hanging around the backyard. We are blessed to have these beauties travel through our yard on many occassions. But Mr. Buck wasn't even scared when I walked out to take his picture.

I would agree with Hog... a nice 2 1/2 yr old would be my guess as well! Great picture. He is indeed beautiful.

Give him another year and he will be a dandy!! Hopefully he will show up next year for another photo opp!!!!

Thats pretty cool. I just recently gained permission to hunt these peoples 12 acres right in the middle of mini suberbia. As it sounds like you can attest.. the deer are very nice. The hunting pressure is pretty much doesnt existant because of the close proxcimity of the houses. So the deer get a chance to get some age on them.. thus.. growing some very impressive racks. I pretty excited about the place. I alomst got a really nice 9 pt a week ago.

Nice.....2 1/2 year old typical 8 point. Probably 15" - 16" inside spread. I agree with VFR....give him a couple of years and he'll be something special. Nice pic though....thanks for sharing. Keep snapping pictures if they keep showing their faces.

Hey, I will give you some target practice. How good are you are "attempting" to hurt those flying rats? You know what I am referring too. They have nicer coats then rats and long bushy tails...
