Ahh, I had a couple Caipirinha cocktails last night with a Centurian XX. Didn't care much for the Gurkha but the Caipirinha is always enjoyable.

Ahhh... The daily pastime of the Carioca.

I tried it for the first time this past summer when I visited Rio. Crush one lime in the bottom of a glass, add Cachaca and enjoy on the beach of Copacabana, Leme, or Ipanema.

I read that there are 4000 brands of cachaca made in Brazil. I believe I have the only bottle in Nashville.

I was in a in Bahia having minute steak, black beans & rice, & a salad. I saw a bottle of this sugar cane distillate with a big red prawn on the bottle label. I had to try it you know. It was clear as water. ChristOmighty. Talk about fire water, it was like naptha. BTW, I don't know how they do it, but sexually unattractive women aren't produced in Brazil.

That's stuff's nasty! Something's wrong with anything that needs sugar and a whole lime to make it drinkable.
