Thanks All for the compliments...
this case was a bear to put together and keep square while gluing up.. being two piece it really made it a challenge.
kdotline, I didn't use a daddo on this one.. instead I used my router with dovetail bit and lining up the grooves were very time consuming and allot of scrap wood LOL... the second one shown not finished yet I used the Daddo on... allot faster with same results
tuckersdad777, some of these shown are challenge coins I had recieved through the years.. but many of them are Unit coins I purchased usually from the Units First Sgts, as our unit would do Coalition Combat Missions with these units or other exercises along side
and some of these coins are left overs from a purchase myself and our Safety officers went in together on...
But I just diplayed them to give the fill of the use of the case shown... Congrats to your Son! may he have a long and wonderful career!
Lions, NP.. if you are looking for simular type cases for your coins I'll shoot you an email? I am not a coin collector.. but I do have a few Susan B's 1921-1929 my grandpa gave to me along with a few other silver coins I've tossed in a keepsake box...
J.Redleg, shoot me an email.. got a question for you..
