I went to a taping of the Jerry Springer show yesterday with my girlfriend Kate who was visiting from Daytona. We received VIP treatment all the way. We had our own security guard. We didn't have to wait in the lines, were able to eat lunch in the employee lounge. We had front row seating as well. It was a real HILAROUS time. We will actually be in two different shows because they tapped to many segments. After the taping was over, we went and bought t-shirts for the hubby's and ourselves. Had them autographed and we took pictures with Steve. It was just an awesome time.

was it as crazy as the tv??? Where do they get thier guests and are they paid for fighting and taking their clothes off??? I wouldnt mind going to a show just to see what its like. Glad you had a good time!!!

I watched Jerry the other day and Steve was the host. Was Jerry there this time? Or was Steve hosting again?

I don't know where the find the people who are the guests on the show, but everything was VERY REAL. I used to think it was all staged. But when those people hit, they really do hit and punch and roll around on the stage. We actually sat in the employee lunch room with a few relatives of some of the people who were going to be on the show.

Since I was sitting right in front of the stair to go up to the stage, a security guy was sitting right near me and Kate. Jerry was really there as well and he is hysterical! He told a few jokes before taping began and was telling them before they would start the 10 second count.

The staff does warn everyone to not say curse words and the such during the question and answer period. And they even stopped handing out beads since so many chicks were flashing.
