hey ya all!

been looking around for about a week now and thought i would say hello and stop hiding around corners looking over your shoulders!

i've smoked some cigars for a little while (i'm trying to quit ciggs ) and thought i would cut them down and out with cigars.

it's worth a shot!

but i have smoked some that are pretty darned good and some that just down right burned my mouth!

i had cut down to ultra-light ciggs and that's as far as i got.

full flavored ciggs just are too much for me, so i'm guessing full flavored cigars are a no-no as well!

i had a sweet one the other day , a cuban honey! i liked that one. kinda mild and a slightly sweet flavor.

but not for an everyday smoke , just a treat!

i'm going to be checking this place out a little bit more and just thought i would introduce myself and say howdy!

Welcome.

After 18 years, I quit the butts almost two years ago. You can do it.

I disagree with your thoughts on full flavored cigars - unless you plan on inhaling. If that's the case, you're simply trading vices.

I love full flavored / full bodied cigars, where I pick out the nuances in flavor, which I would never consider with my Marlboro Reds.

I wish you luck. You could do it if you want to.

aww

we've all got our vices.

but i had one of the full flavored cigars , and it just seemed to burn at my mouth too much so i think i will stick to the lighter ones.

tried some backwoods the other day that wasn't too bad, better that some of the others i've tried.

oh ...and hello to you jredleg

Sorry, if I came on a bit direct. It's fine to start off mild but don't be afraid to try something new and one step bolder once in a while. You'll find your tastes will progress. That's how most of us started.

??? meant no harm , just asking.

i have many friends that are of mexican descent. it's not a derogatory question and in no way am i questioning pablo.

just asking , not wanting to cause any trouble here. being new an all.

if it's that wrong to ask , maybe i am in the wrong place.

pablo, take it easy, LMAO!!!!!!

Desperado, you're not going to find a nicer person on this cigar forum than Pablo. He is absolutely the top of the ladder.

He's apparently feisty today.

By the way welcome.
