Being on these forums is kind of like a double-edged sword. Many have been members for years, and we have got to know and trust them by their usernames. I have noticed lately though ... many have changed their useranmes, and now it's getting harder to associate their new usernames with those we once got to know.

How many here, that have changed their usernames, are willing to let us all know what username you originally used? This is only asked ... so tht there can be some 'familiarity' established in this anonymous workd we participate in ...

... that is, unless there is some reason that you feel you have to hide it.

Also ... I am very curious as to how many here go by several usernames. I know for certain that there are a few ... and this one, I'm sure ... for those that do ... will never be admitted.

But ... it's worth a shot, and for those that can be honest enough to come forth (those not tyring to hide anything) ... it will help many of us here to associate the 'old' with the 'new' ...

Period.

Lets quit with the cloak and dagger and just be blunt about it.

Those that have legitimate reasons for the change ... will not have ne bothered with this ...

... and will not have a problem 'updating' us all.

Like I said ... I'm just curious. I have no ulterior motives. I think it will be interesting who responds to this, as I do know for a fact that there are several who have changed their names ... and were already upfront about it.
