Nice! All Eagles fans attack the Cowboys fan so I can get that second job I want! LOL.

SteveR, cheer loud and hard for Donovan and crew. I've got some good money riding on them that may be used for future purchases 🙂

Steve, are you going to wear your Owens jersey? J/k - my brother will be there as well, and he's a cowboys fan...

saturn07 - I despise Owens for what he did. Especially for using the phrase "I have to feed my family", when looking for a new contract.

The Eagles are better off without him. Now they can reward their free agents with extended contracts and focus on the team as a whole.

If I were to buy an Eagles jersey, it would probably be that of Chad Lewis or Brian Dawkins.

I don't believe Owens ever used that phrase.

That was Latrell Spreewell.

But he did enough other BS to piss off plenty of folks.

i've actually gained a lot of respect for mcnabb through all of this. i think he's carried himself rather well considering the circumstances. to me, he seems like a mature professional and TO seems like a whiney prima donna.

Steve - I hear you. Owens appears to have mental problems.

To say something like that - anywhere - but especially in a blue collar town like philly will not get you any sympathy. I heard numerous commentators remarking on how they have never seen so much good will disappear that quickly, ever. Anyway, if he wasn't a good player, no one ever would have noticed. A shame, really. Have fun at the game

MACS(SW) - Oh, he definitely said it. My words were not exact, but I definitely remember him saying it. I remember laughing out loud while watching it on ESPN.

At first I though, it must be a poor agent that advising him. But then I found out it's the same agent that Plexico Burress has, yet Plexico maintains a very professional and courteous demeanor in regards to life in the NFL.

I agree with the mental instability theory.

SteveR, be prepared for when the blue wave shows up with the Sean Alexander show 🙂

It's one of the few games they have left that I worry about, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and pick my Seahawks.

To prevent thread jack comments, its also a Monday Night game.

"The Leaf" is good from what i can tell, tho its the only smoke shop in town, unless you like your smokes from a gas station...

its right in the middle of downtown, when were you coming to town, and what the heck brings you to abilene? nothing in town is worth writing home about IMHO...
