...I have a lot of "bad days". My job is pretty stressful, and I am going away for Thanksgiving, so this has been "**** on andy week". Today was no exception....a hard and busy day culminating in the realization that I am going to have to work the weekend too in order to keep my company on track next week. "What does have to do with trades?", you may be thinking, well;
I got home today, a bit ago, and pulled up to my mailbox. I noticed a couple of boxes and a few USPS slips also (Chief's pass....CRAP! I missed it and have to wait til tommorrow).
It is too dark to read the box labels so I bring them inside. Before I get a chance to open them, I notice my dog has destroyed the garbage which I neglected to secure this morning.......grrrrrrrrrrr....things are getting worse.
I pour a "too tall" whiskey & soda and sit down to the mail.
First box..........heavy.............from a BOTL is Wisconsin we all know. I feel my stomach turn over happily 'cause it KNOWS what is in this box.....CURDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!
Not only cheese, but also a massive, I mean MASSIVE, bag of top-friggin-notch smokes.......the host bag from a box pass I am running. This is just AMAZING. I'm not gonna go into detail, but the contents of this bag are like the who's who of super premiums. My frown turned "upside down" and I paced back and forth in the kitchen in my "awe" mode. You know, the one where you walk around dazed quietly repeating "Holy **** Dude!" over and over again. Not only do I have smokes, I have supper! I have them marinating in tabassco and black pepper right now (my preferred method for eating cheese curds).
What can be in this other box?
The label says "HarleyDave". Uh-oh.
Since I posted a missing persons ad for a Fuente BTL a week or so ago, two BOTLS have jumped to my aid.....these are fellas I have never even really met, but they took it upon themselves to help me out.
I open this box and read the note....."Fuente Products"
!!!!!!!
I am NOT a subcriber to the school of thought that Fuente is overrated. I LOVE most of their offerings, and THIS package had some of the very best of their offerings......not the kind you just go and buy, but the kind you must seek...with patience and cunning....the kind that you don't like to give up.
In a matter of fifteen minutes, I went from wanting to tear the head off of somebody to a blissful state of appreciation and happiness.
Thanks fellas......
