In America, apparently the poor care more about people than the wealthy:

"The 10 most generous states were, in descending order, Mississippi, Arkansas, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Utah, South Carolina and West Virginia.

The 10 stingiest, starting from the bottom, were New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Minnesota, Colorado, Hawaii and Michigan."

7.75% in Cali. But they hammer you on everything from a fishing license for the damn ocean, to the ol' smog check.

They don't care if your car is safe to drive... as long as it isn't polluting the already polluted air.

And... get this... the vehicles that get some of the best gas mileage on the market are no longer sold in Ca. The Turbo diesels. A friend of mine has a 2002 (or 2003) Jetta TDI and gets almost 50 mpg. I think in 2004 CA said the dealers could no longer sell new cars that had diesel engines. But the huge-ass trucks are okay...

Hopefully the thought counts for something X, Hinn's hair notwithstanding.
