Hey Steve, Jessica, Gonz, or whoever I get a hold of... I wanted to make a request. The search features offers a "keyword" and "handle" function if you're searching up to 3 months. If you're search is any further than 3 months than you have to have the title of a thread for it to come up.

This makes it hard to find a good portion of things simply because maybe I'm looking for a thread and I remember who wrote the thread but I don't remember the exact title of the thread. There are many threads that I have simply deemed lost for ever.

Is there any way that you can offer a "cbid handle" function to your extend search options? That way we can type in a members name for an extended search and not just titles.

As I recall when cbid was having "speed" problems a few months ago this was one of the features that was lost in the efforts to speed up the site (which I appreciate by the way)

I'd like the ability to search for more than 18 months.

When the decision was made to improve the site, we felt it was best not to allow a 'search by user' option for extensive searches. This would more than likely result in countless results.

But, I did forward your suggestion over to the powers that be in IT.
