Lot 307401 here on Cbid.

4 – Cienfuegos Robusto (5"x50)

4 – Cuba Aliados Robusto (5"x50)

4 – Puros Indios Robusto (5"x50)

4 – Reserva Maxima Robusto (5"x50)

4 – Viejo 98 Robusto (5"x50)

I've never seen anything quite like what I am proposing here before, but I think it's well within the spirit and letter of the rules of our hosts.

Here's the deal: I'm interested in the Viejo 98, but only see them in these samplers that come up. CBid says that the Cienfuegos' are worth $13/each (well, that's what they say!). So I'll take the Viejos, you take the Cienfuegos, and we'll split the others in half.

What price? Well we're sure not going to discuss that here! If you're interested email me at

I think I may have one deal working. But there's room for another. If you'd rather take the Reserva, that works too. Or any other split you'd fancy.

Thought I'd top this thread to let everyone know that it worked out great.

afphreak split it with me. We got the CBid auction at a great price and afphreak has already PayPal'ed me the $$. I'm just waiting for the CBid weekly mailing to complete the deal.

Others should take note, and I should see more of these. My observation is that there is much less bidding pressure on the boxes than on the 5-ers or samplers. Why don't more of you get together and split boxes here?

The Honduran Cream is a cheapo-cheapo that I won in an auction the same week. I think the Cajuns call it "lagniappe".
