Hey guys, I have been out of pocket for a couple of days, and wanted to apologize. I had an emergency appendectomy surgery yesterday at about 6:30 P.M. Just hit me all of the sudden. I have six packages that the wife is going to get to the P.O. this afternoon for me, and now, I am off work until Monday. WOW, nothing to do but take my lortabs and smoke stogies. What ever will I do. Just FYI for the guys I owe packages to. They are on their way.

They actually serve some immune function Stevo, but if they act up, they're outta there.

Easy on the lortabs rick. They can block up the old chute with alarming consequences.

I am pretty sure the old chute is going to be out of order for the next couple of days, anyways. They don't want all that stuff passing by the new sutures. Thanks for the kind words. I will be alright, and now I have plenty of smoking time. I am about to fire up an older trilogy. Never had one.

I looked it up and you are right, it is for the immune system.

Damn you school...

They taught us that it used to help in digestion, but that we no longer need it.

you lairs.

Hope you get well quickly. No need to send packages. Unless of course that gets the wife out of your hair. hehe

rick's probably heard more about appendixes than he ever wanted to, but they're both Stevo. There is a lot of immune specific tissue in much of the intestine. The appendix, many assert, is also an evolutionary vestige of the human digestive tract, hypothesized to have once been used as a chamber to digest plant matter, as some of our australopithicine ancestors were vegetarian. We also have those pesky wisdom teeth pointing to a similar conclusion.

Hey man, take it easy and don't go back to work to earlier. After my apindectomy I ended up going back to work in just a few days and I was back in the hospital a week and a half later because of it.

I'm waiting for some cigars to come end that I want to put in your package. I hope that you can wait a moment longer, sorry for the delay but this is going to be special.

Prayers and best wishes Rick. I'll put something special in the box that has your name on it, maybe a bedpan or catheter. Tuck

Ooh, Tuck, if you send him a catheter make sure it is a Red Robin. Those are the least painful. And lots of KY. Take a deep breath in, Rick!

Glad to hear you're ok rick. I'd wish you a speedy recovery but you seem to be doing fine! A few days away from work never hurt anyone. Take it easy, recover well.
