OK, you guys bring up a good point for a beginner. As far as humidification is concerned, what's the best layout for my humi? Does it matter if the shelves on top, mid or bottom are more full?

yea but he can build the Deep end LOL

V, however you set your humi up is entirely up to your descretion.. the verbage top shelf smokes does not mean they have to be setting on the top shelf?

I was just razzing you in my first post!

I understand that Hog, just got me to thinking in a humi like mine, does it make any differences, is there a recommended placement for storage? Just got me thinking is all.

well one thing.. if your runnin at 70% humidity.. and you got some ISOM (Island South of Miami) Cigars in there.. you'll want to keep them as far away from your humidfier as possible... ISOM's seem to smoke better at a lesser RH factor.. around 65-67%

also did you install a fan to circulate the RH?

if not you'll be switching your shelves around a bit...

Hey V. I remember a county in FL that was called Volusia County. Is that where you live. I lived in Daytona, which is in Volusia County. I lived there for 16 years. Now I am in NY. Go figure.

Hog, I try to keep it at about 67-68%, no fan yet, although the Cigar Oasis has one that kicks on from time to time. I had thought about a PC fan to install on top, as the Cigar Oasis is on the bottom, just to keep air circulating, just havent done it yet.

Const, no, I used to own a Suzuki Volusia motorcycle, and that was my screen name on that website. It grew on my and stuck, so it's my screen name on all web sites I belong to.

Hoss, yes, I have weather stripping on the face frame to seal the doors. Seems to be working pretty well, RH is pretty constant at 67-68%.

Kim, I'm from Green Bay, WI. No Packer jokes please, it's hard enough as it is!

I put my top shelf smokes on the bottom of my Humi its harder to get to. Most of my free loading friends pick from the top two shelves most of the time. Because its too much trouble to take out the third tray.

That's why I stash my good stuff on the bottom...

Oh am BTW Hello everyone. Been reading here a while just never posted.

Volusianator-

Like those dark, dark Hoyo's on the second shelf. If you feel the need to liberate some of them, I would be happy to help!
