This is the view from my office here in Daytona. I love what I do and too bad I have to look at this 2006 Screamin' Eagle FATBOY !

If i get "tired" of it, I have 200 others to choose from. I just want everyone to know how blessed I am to work at Daytona Harley. I am thankful everyday I come to work and look out this window. We call it the $1,000,000.00 view.560468.JPG

Well, if you want, Email me at rsquillante daytona harley dot .....com, I will go over some options with you. I can give you my phone number and talk.

For starters, we use the 95" kit with some add on goodies that seems to really work. Much less than the 103" kit.

i think i saw that bike in tx for about 30k. the previous SE fatboy was 29,900.

errasa, it won't be cheap. i'd start with a stage II and new pipes. if you're gonna suck in more air, you gotta let more get out! i'm told that rhinehart pipes are about the best you're gonna find for performance, but they're not cheap. harley will tell you to use their screamin' eagle pipes with the "power chamber." basically, it's a 2 into 1 that looks like a 2 into 2. i've been told by harley folks that it was designed by harley but made by V&H. i know that V&H has a similar version of the pipes, but i don't know if they make the one with the screamin' eagle name. anyway, it's going to be expensive no matter what you do. that's why my fatboy is still slow!

I agree that the SE pipes are made by V&H's. There are many ways to skin a cat guys.

I know that you can make horsepower by letting it breath better. If you go with the 95" kit and use a 50mm throttle body,Reinhart exhaust, among other things, you can get real close to 100HP, more like 96HP@4500RPM. This will cost under $3000. As opposed to a 103 kit that costs $7000 and you still don't get 100HP.

Here's what i was thinking of doing. I already have a thunderheader and a Tuneable chip. I have a set of pots and heads from an '03 Ultra that I thought I'd get bored and polished and piston matched. I want an Andrews gear drive cam that makes it's power on the low rev side 18k or 20k up. I'd like to replace that anemic injection system as well. I think 95" would be enough as I don't want the added teeth rattlers 103" would offer. Come back.

Nice lookin' bike! In the market for a Harley myself, but my wife would kill me if she saw a bill like that!

Sadly, I will have to settle for used.... (sniff)(sob).

erassa,

sounds like a way to go. I would think this is the least expensive route. Email sent.

GDColson

Hey now, we got less expensive bikes. I buy em used all the time. You can get a new fatboy for around $17,000 plus.

My wife would kick my butt out if I brought home the SE fatboy also. Don't feel bad(but I would have one heck of a good time anyway).

Tank always tells me "It's not how fast you get from point A to point B, but how good you look going..."

He still loves his Harley.
