Any of you fellow cigar smokers ride a bike? And if so what is your favorite cigar to take along for a day trip to enjoy the ride with?

I ride a 1999 Ducati 996. My favorite cigar to take along is a lightweight Don Diego. It allows me to keep my sense of balance. And God knows I need all the help I can get. The bike is very easy to go fast on, but it constantly reminds me how much better it is than me.

I prefer a LFD Ligero series or a PI Rothchild. Great light flavored smokes. Getting ready for the Biketoberfest at Myrtle Beach and will smoke a few while there!

I also ride bikes......the pedal kind that is.....I have a Schwinn Moab disc with 27 spd. Deore and a Cane Creek shock seat. Love to ride in the mountains on it. Many other extras that I have spent too much $$ on as well to equip it!!!!!!!!

Years ago I had a Z1-900 but didn't smoke then; Now, with a lot less hair and a few pounds more, I very often dream of the hawg I ride down the road throughout the Southwest with a big fat woman on the back "holdin' on" and my El Rico Habano glowing in the wind; the ash comes off and she gets a mouthful, but she's tough and motions with her hand for me to pass her the backwash Bud in the cup holder so she can wash it down....yeah...maybe some day...

2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200S (Silver)

K&N Stage II Jet Kit
K&N "sleeper" intake filter system
Yoshi slip-on exhaust
Holeshot Bandit Factory Drop-in Cams
Holeshot +5 timing advancer
Givi MonoRack Carrier.

But I can only carry the cigars in the rack ... ashes burn my friggin ears .... Perdomo SP Reserves or a Montecristo #2 (either unlit).

Pics available (with or without the wife) available to the non-believers.

To be totally honest ... I haven't even opened it up yet ... still scares the hell out of me and I've had it for almost 3 months (but for 6 weeks it was in storage for my left coast assignment).

Anyone in CT/MA/RI up for weekend touring? Let me know ... I (and my wife) love to just go riding. Only problem with this bike/model ... friggin front end won't stay on the pavement if I punch it over 7g's .... it redlines at just under 12g's ....
... but we're game for a touring trip anytime we can get a babysitter.

p.s. The Yoshi exhaust may be GONE soon as it's too obnoxious on the noise and the factory (drilled out just a little) offers very comparable performance w/o the nuisance of disturbing the neighbors.

Also - looking for a place (local) to store it this winter (climate controlled) if anyone knows of a place. - Regards - Jim

Harley 883 custom and anything from my humidor. I'll be going to the 100th HD anniversary on 9-7 at California Speedway and I'll be packing a few 'gars for the festivities. It doesn't get much better than that.

Hey EL,

Windshield, huh? I was wondering how to keep a gar lit while cruising on a scoot. Never could give up the feel of an 80mph wind in my face on highway 90 heading to Sturgis.
