my 8 year old daughter announced to me that there is no Santa yesterday. I looked shocked and started to pretend to cry. She gave me one of those "how stupid do you think I am" looks and said - "Dad, I recognzed mom's handwriting on the labels last year"

I was so glad when my kids didn't believe anymore. I used to go to so much trouble. And then to not even get credit when you buy a great (and expensive) present---that sucks. What a crock the whole thing is. What a relief it is not to have to lie any more.

well, I guess I have to wait for grandkids then......
