no.....my blazer isn't up to driving long distance ....it's just a to and from work vehicle.

and the other morning my wife's minivan had the tie-rod go out on it..so....tomorrow...i get to call the towtruck to take it to the garage (a cigar smoking mechanic buddy of mine) and he's going to fix it.

as for my 10 remaining day's off this year.....i'm just celebrating locally.....my wife's mom's, my dad's and i'm planning on heading up to desperado's on sunday ( hopefully ) to watch the game and get a rematch with his boy in a snowball fight!

dup,

The secret to that is to build a good bunker and have plenty of ammo...

Make sure you pack 'em good 'n tight...nothin' says love like an "ice ball" in your eye!

But, what do I know...I'm just an idjit.

i'll tell ya....i remember some good snowball war's the 15 kids up and down the road used to have!!

me included!

we'd all get together at a centrally located house in the middle of living distances so it was fair.

split up two sides and head out 7-8 on one team and same on other! killer wars! country boy's!

from the woods to around the houses...we were out there all day "hunting" our targets....like tag!

just a bit more painful at times!! after snow is packed...it hardens in the freezing cold weather!

but anyway.....his boygot me good up side the head!

i come around the corner and didn't see him , turned....and as i was walking away ....up he popped and "WHAM"........he got me good!

and ya can't hit your host's kid with a snowball the way you just got hit...ya know? bad form!

although childhood flashbacks made me want to!! hehehe

i'm going up there...for a rematch....snow allowing!

Mike that is the best way to deal with kids. Make them think you like em and then whap upside the head! Gotta keep one step ahead of the younguns or they will run all over you!

Erik,

Bait and Switch always works for me! I say the kid's a devious little monster to launch a sneaky blow like that and needs to be taught a lesson! LOL

I've got two and refuse to drive one. I am much too "cool" for that. The kids are starting to bitch about riding in the trunk though.

Yeah, you don't need the headache of having to repair the dents they make from beating it from the inside trying to get out...

Used to have the minivan...traded it in for a Suburban earlier this year. Those are at least a little more manly.

When I want to feel like a macho dude, I just drive my service truck and fly down the road with all my strobes on. LOL

hey g

dup only drives a minivan when driving long distances so there's plenty of room for a cooler, small humi, snacks and big speakers!!

otherwise i stick to my 4x4 chevy blazer for around town and work.

when your married....the "cool" image is gone anyway!

ie..."cool" fonzie , james dean...etc.....

imagine them married.......cool-gone!!

hehehe

That's OK...I never had the cool thing goin' on anyway. I'm too much of a wannabilly.

My wife likes the 'burban much more anyway. Minivan only had one side door, and it was a real hassle once we had to have two car seats.

Didn't you say on the other post that you tucked? Dude, we DID not want to know that!!!
