On behalf of everyone in the group, I'd like to welcome to arbn2/505, bullwinkle and i.am.steve to the pool this week ...

For reasons I don't understand, I am unable to access my hotmail this evening ... I had intended to send a reminder to those whose picks have not yet been received, but given my lack of access, I am unsure whose I have, whose i don't and cannot send an e-mail tonight to those I don't have or to the group as a whole ... I will do so as soon as I get to work in the morning ...

I have picks from many of you, but not all ... if you have yet to do so, please complete your picks and send them to me at your first opportunity, won't you ??

My hotmail and I are both functional this morning and I was able to get an e-mail to everyone in the group regarding our status and reminding those whose picks I'd not received as of this morning that the deadline is fast approaching ...

for the whole damn pool ...

it's a bit bigger chore than I'd imagined ... not everyone sends their picks in on a timely basis and there have been frequent omissions either of individual games on the sheet or of the MNF score ... causes a lot of extra work ... I'm hoping everyone double checks themselves and can find time to submit by Thurs eve ... all in all, though, I'm still enjoying it ... lots of good guys in this pool make it a pretty good time ...

One? I seem to remember it was one for each quarter...yeah that's it, one for each quarter. Good job Steve....(now can I win?)

he took on the joy of the job for 1 cigar per gambler for the entire season. and only two pee brakes per day.

Hey today I tried again to send my cigars to the last four week winners and Smithbw's got rejected.
Yesterday they rejected everyone's because I turned their precious little Priority Mail boxes inside out and only wanted to mail them first class instead of paying $5 to mail each box Priority Mail (apparently a major NO-NO).
Today, I put the boxes in big envelopes and they took them no questions except for Billy's. They asked what was in Billy's package since it was going to an APO address. So I made a big boo-boo and told them the truth. Well the man told me you can not send tobacco products to APO addresses.

THE POST OFFICE BLOWS!!!!!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Opps, I peed in the pool...

I sent Billy his smoke. Right on the package it said: One cigar, value: $100. I have been making my own triangle boxes. My last mailing cost $0.60. My wife, who is an engineer, says strengthwise, the triangle is vastly superior to the square. Anybody get a crushed smoke from me?

Plabonte, Might be true. Are you thinking of Buckyballs? Make a hexagon box and see.

I'm using tubes cut to size and have not heard of squashed smokes; I use a postal service and nothing has been rejected thus far.

E..you peed in the pool..then I hope that thing floating behind you is a baby ruth!!! LOL
