2 1/2 tours of duty ( 1 in Navy riverine brown water), in Viet Nam. Six of my "Brothers" were killed there. Two in my arms. Fourtunatly THEY all came home. I came home after Siagon '75. I was wounded, shot and stabbed a few times, during my tours, but would do it again in a heartbeat! I have no regrets, except the fact that we ALL didn't get out. "We all go down together". "Leave no one behind". I used to feel we failed in that respect. When I saw what happens to people when a shell lands next to them, or when they die and lie unclaimed for days and the "bush" takes them, allows me to understand why most will never come home.

It's nice to know that WE and others are not forgotten.

Let me take time to thank you all (my friends at CB), on behalf of my "Brothers" friends I proudly served with. Thank you and God Bless you all. rjdc

Another year, another tear...

My family and I are forever greatful to all those who've served past, present and future.

And forever indebted to those that haven't come home and those that never will...

God Bless America

Did you know that the military has only one actual MIA? All of the others that you think about are actually considered KIA/BNR (Killed in Action / Body not recovered). The only actual one that is documented as MIA is the guy that was shot down over Iraq during Desert Storm and was considered KIA / BNR, then evidence surfaced that he was still alive and being held by Iraq.
