Ok, I sobered up and now reality has set in and the Eagles still appear to be the cream of the crop. The Bucs look good but it's not December yet, and we know how they play in the cold; The Saints proved what a fraud they are this past week; The Rams are now 0-4 (enough said); The Eagles defense and special teams has scored more points than the Giants and 49ers whole team; and only 3 others teams in the NFC have let up more points than the Packers.
Whew! Now I need another beer reality sucks!

Thanks Steve, It looks like I am not alone in thinking the Eagels are the best in the NFC...But I think ESPN needs to give the PATS in the AFC a bit more credit.

Trust me...if the good teams (ie: EAGLES) see the Cowboys creeping in their rear views, they simply shift to reverse and run them over backwards. The "boys" just don't have the talent behind the center these days.

As for the Pats, never count out a champion.

I think the word "parity" has been overused, but there simply is no other way to describe the NFL nowadays.
But it's still too early to decipher who will be playing at the end of january.
Tampa may peek late season and set the tone for a great playoff. Or the Saints could prove the world wrong. Or Carolina may never wake up.
But one things for certain. Steve Spurrier will be the highest paid unemployed coach next season...

Eagles rank up there with the Vikings and Saints. When it matters the teams that have experience: 49ers or Packers will knock em out. Remember they are on top of the NFC East. Not much to brag about this year.

Tried to get back on the bandwagon but they built a new one and I couldn't afford the $5,000.00 for my old seat. You know how it is Guv still trying to earn more then $7,000.00 a year so I can move up to the great Northeast. LOL JonR

Don't you know that it is the law...If you work for the City you have to live in the Northeast...It's as close to being outside the city as you can get.
The Northeast...Kensington with trees! So being from Kensington the first thing I did was to cut down all my trees.

Sapp is a great player but he doesn't seem to do sh*t against the Eagles, except shoot his mouth off. He needs to shut up and put up when he plays the Eagles. Sapp has one sack in his career against McNabb and they let Duce run for 152 yards yesterday (so much for the best defense in the NFL). Tampa Bay is a good team but the Eagles have done nothing but embarrass the Bucs and Sapp for the past several years now.
