Cliffie,I'm pretty sure that was Bob Dole who has the bum arm.I did a little research(very little) and Daschle served three years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command,it says nothing of being wounded.

Bob Dole is the one with the war injury, Senator Tom probably got jammed in the hand with a sharp number 2 pencil while doing his military time!
