I'm at a loss to explain these two people. So I'm just going to lay it out there like this.

RugRunner & Heather are two of the finest people I have never met. There's some crusty seamen out in Temecula CA, a Spaniard in Maryland and a TV in Pennsylvania that are also high on my list of people to share a smoke with, but Rug & Heather are mindboggling.

I can't even recall how many cigars these two have dropped on me. I've battled back pretty good, but I know I'm losing on points.

Today in the mail, I get another set of smokes (Oh, and to the few of you that think Rug bombs people to gain their favor, I received 5 smokes today, and probably 50 BEFORE he was banned. Just wanted to get that little nugget out there for the nay-sayers),

And... ahem... an "undergarment" with a superhero logo on the backside, and a couple of birthday gifts for my Son- who turned 4 years old today.

I don't know what the gifts for my Son are yet, because the Boy Wonder is napping now. That surprise will be his later today.

I know Rug has his detractors. And maybe me posting this message is the equivlent of Tey talking about Assoomi. I also relize Rug isn't everyone's cup of tea. If you a democrat, liberal, liar, backstabber, child molestor, terrorist or somebody sneaking into his country, you might not want to rush out and introduce yourself to him (although I would bet he would be gracious until you took the first verbal or physical swing).

Rug & Heather truly seem to truly enjoy making other people happy. They have enough on their own plate, but they create time, gifts and memories for others.

I don't know what else to say to or about them other than "thank you".

Russ, I wish I could take credit for the things he does. All I did was say, "Oh look - 8track's little boy is turning 4 on Monday!" He got a wicked gleam in his eye and ran off to the store.

When I first started dating him I thought he was an incredible freak, but he explained it to me this way - it makes him happy. His motives are purely selfish. He gets a great deal of satisfaction out of making other people happy. Which is why those other comments made by other people just make me laugh. Obviously they don't know Rug at all, because if he cared for a minute about what people thought he would not have been given a time out.

BTW, I expect to see those boxers in July!
