I'll recommend another Rocky Patel - the REO. It's quickly become one of my favorites.

Yeah, yeah homebrew! I like the way my screen name makes people a little edgy still. It's more fun this way. And sorry for the Padron lovers who just saw the 5-pack and box price go up with this post.

Thanks for not posting this yesterday. I won a 5'er of the 2000 maddies last night.

If you like the Nestors that ryanpederson suggested, then try the El Mejor Espresso - they are similar and even cheaper.

On your other thread - just curious why you singled out the La Perla Habana Maduro. Is it a favorite - you don't see them on bid too often do you?

Try the Torano Exodus 1959.

I think the Perdomo2 would fit the bill nicely. They're an excellent smoke, and not too pricy. Their long thin lonsdale style vitola is a great size and draws well.

In reply, I had aquired one in a sampler a couple of months ago. Since then I have not seen any on bid. When I check there other web site it seems to be frequently on a 2-4 week backorder.

Gurkha Regent

Padron 2000

CAO LAnniversaire

Torano Exodus 1959

RP REOs (good and can be found at decent prices)

Nestor Reserve (a good everyday stick)

PAN/M (very tasty, but also very pricey)

Ashton VSG (full bodied)

Just a few off the top of my head.

Also, HdM used to make an Excalibur in a box press but I have not seen them in awhile.
