Hey Ed ...

... just a little something to thank you for the very nice package of cigars ... and the VERY nice note you sent to me awhile back, out of the blue, and asking nothing in return ...

... but you know me ... what goes around, comes around.

I had it shipped UPS ground from Washington state, so it may take a week (or so) to get there, so keep your eye out for it.

Hey Slim:

Washington State? Hmmm, saw the news the other day and Washington State had a large crop of illegal foliage that was produce. Oh well, I can only hope.

Thanks Slim, but remember what goes around comes around, and around again. Will keep an eye for it.

Ed

Slim:

Finally got to open your package this morning...oh my goodness. La Unica Churchill size Cammy's along with matching humidor...a Beautiful sight. Have to post a special thank you in another post, along with E-mail. Outstanding my friend. I have heard many good things about this Fuente/Newman blend with dark cameroon wrappers, but have not seen them around, even in my local B&M's. Not necessary Slim, but greatly appreciated. Wish I had my digital camera so that I can post a picture.

I tried to wait for it, but was called in to work unexpectedly. Man, I could not wait to get home this morning to open it.

Ed ... I just read your email, and was shocked that I could send a cigar to someone as experieced as yourself ... that you had never tried.

INCREDIBLE !!!

And that, my friend ... is what it's all about. The ultimate cigar gift that can be given to any one who 'loves the leaf', is a hard to find 'super-premium' that they have yet to experience. That doesn't happen very often with experienced FOG's ...

It had a long 'ground' journey from Washington State to New York ... and I was hoping that the cigars, being packed in the La Unica humidor would keep them stable. To read in your email that they were at a perfect 70 Rh on arrival is 'dumbfounding' to say the least. I'm glad to hear the the tobacconist that sent them ... did their 'due dilligence' before shipping, seasoning and priming the 'dor to perfection. That says a lot about the place ...

You made my day ...
