A full-blown trade row erupted on Sunday night between the US and China after Beijing accused Washington of “rampant protectionism” for imposing heavy duties on imported Chinese tyres and threatened action against imports of US poultry and vehicles.

Trade relations between two of the world’s biggest economies deteriorated after Barack Obama, US president, signed an order late on Friday to impose a new duty of 35 per cent on Chinese tyre imports on top of an existing 4 per cent tariff.

I checked Snopes to see if Idi Amin Jr. is authentic.

They claim he is an urban myth.

Usually these stories and letters that seem "too good to be true" are just that. This stuff pops up all the time.

Having said that, the facts mentioned in the bogus article tend to be true. As such, you think someone might write a real story and get it published.

Handlers = Bilderberger group? There are definitely some truths in it. McCain and Palin couldn't have been a worst pick for the Republican party.

By the way...here's a link to the real author. It was written for the Canadian Free Press by Alan Caruba.

That's quite an assertion, there Rick. What, specifically, are the "rules of civilization?"

The true Bush Hater will cling to their only idol (Idi Amin. Jr.) as they will rationalize that anyone will be better than someone who has liberated millions of Iraqis from beneath the boot of a ruthless dictator.

We can't have non-white people getting all uppity with the notion of liberty, now can we?

We need a tinfoil hat smiley for this forum.

I do agree with the author on most of his assertions though. McCain/Palin stood no chance against the OBAMESSIAH.

As far as the media's treatment of Obama, I seem to recall Bush getting the soft touch from the media for his first couple of years, especially after 9/11.
