My wife and I have just received this email from 1st Lieut. T.S.M. - whom a few on this Board have supported with packages of cigars and other sundries...... This outstanding young Lieutenant is assigned to the 101st AIRBORNE Div....

I received the package and it was great as usual. The soldiers love the cigars. Of course I kept some of the food all to myself because the goodies you send are too good to let out. Well....maybe if I get to crazy with the chocholates I will have to give some away. The cross word puzzles were great as well, its a good way to pass the time. I have also received some packages from some of your friends on the cigar net. They really were awesome, I will be corresponding with them either today or tomorrow. Since I have been over in the sand box, I can't believe the level of support that I have received. It makes me realize how great it is to be a soldier and it makes it worth while, especially with all of the 'crap' that has been going down with the sectarian violence in Iraq. Hopefully, it will turn out good in the end, but at times, things don't look very promising right now. I hope everything is well. Talk to you soon.
