A few of you know that I'm going to be participating in a Walk for MS event in April. I began doing fundraising this week with these little guys. We have a few other things started and its very exciting. Our team goal is pretty aggressive but its a very worthy cause. What kind of things have you done (besides strange men in even stranger situations)? groundhog day.jpg

Our daughter did the walk last year, her and her 4 friends held a pub crawl (she's a bartender) 5 bars, all within crawling distance.

Made up some shirts, sold tickets, raffled off some golf, art, cigar, bar stuff at each place. The clubs donated proceeds. All 5 girls made their goal in that one night.

Get busy!!! hehe

Thanks Trish !, My daughter was stricken last year at age 33 and has 2 kids. She lost 60% of her vision and it is apparently permanent and she can't drive anymore .She lives way out in the country and is stuck except for family and the contacts from the MS Society. it is a devastating disease and she has to be injected daily which can be painful at times. The MS Society pays for her medicine which would cost her $1500 a month to buy and she could not afford that, they also have funded research to help develop new medicines which will replace the painful injections with pills. They do so much for people with this disease it is unbeliievable ! Thank God for them! This is the what Volunteerism can do ,which is go beyond any insurance or govt program. The MS Society is a deserving emblem of what's good about America and it's citizens...

Thank you guys! I don't want to use my work forum to drum up donations but your comments are greatly appreciated!! How about some other fund-raising ideas? I LOVE the pub crawl and I'm sure my kids would be totally into that!! LOL

Anything else?

Guys. Do we not stand with our CBid family when the occasion arises? Do we not lend our support to causes much larger than our shared indulgence? And, has not Trish always been steadfast and hearty when it came to our BOTL needs?

Since she, being the cosumate professional she is, will not use this forum to further her cause, I will ask you to give thought to aiding her in her endeavour. I will send my pledge to whatever address she provides.

Amen?

My Pleasure Dadz!! I've got what I think could be a pretty good fundraiser planned. I'm working out some of the details but I'll be announcing it to my Facebook friends very soon. Should be worth a few laughs, if nothing else!!! 🇨🇮
