Ah, C'mon Bloody...his satire is SPOT ON!

The show was revolutionary.

Samuel Jackson Beer...Wayne Brady...The 1st Black President...Real World parody...Prince...Clayton Bigsby...Internet as a real place...and even Rick James, heck he even was in on the skits!

That "Internet" skit was HI-larious. SPAM BLOCKER! Most of his skits had me 😂 ...I miss his shows. I guess he caved to the pressure (of Jesse or Al) or just decided he didn't need the $$.

You know, Joe Rogan, this is not the first time I've tasted p-nus...

The stories I heard about his show are that the Comedy Central execs wanted to alter and filter the content.

Dave even had a skit that prophesied the end of his show.

His comedic wit and flair as well as his ability to rip down the sterotypical walls is something that is missing. I've often felt that if he can't get his own show back then go to Hollywoood and produce/write movies! Look no further than the Wayans Brothers for what we would have!

Now the Wayans ARE funny, brother DMV. Love Eddie Griffin (Undercover Brother) too, along with old school black comics such as Foxx & Pryor. However, I agree with Bill Cosby when he says that the current crop of comedians (Jamie Fox, Lawrence, Chapelle, Rock, etc.) have lame material & have to resort to being "outrageous" with profanity & sexual innuendo in order to punch it up.

Nothing sadder to me than to see a dumbed-down audience (usually mostly black) laughing hysterically at mother effin', smelly ass crack, bj "jokes". Yes, I'd rather commit slow death by watching a Cosby film festival.

Chapelle had his moments I agree but overall... phftt (IMHO) Extremely lame/unfunny on the Stern show too.

Wish him a complete recovery though.
