I just got back from Viva Las Vegas, and this is one photo of my friend Talloolah Love on stage at the Orleans hotel during the Burlesque competition. Thank you all from this board for helping to send her there. It was an awesome trip and she had a great time.

Jet - Good to hear. I'm so happy she got to go and you go to go along as well!

Jack, as much as I hate to admit this, all the talk was right. The open secret that the competition is rigged, was well apparent that evening. She didn't place at all.

The sold out crowd absolutely loved her. She raised the roof with the yells, screams & hollers. I could go into minute details on why did didn't win, but it'd just seem like a spoiled sport.

She went into this competition knowing there was a good chance she wouldn't win, but the crowd loved her. She got the loudest response from the crowd, by far.

To follow up, she had a great weekend. She's gone to the Burlesque Hall of Fame the last 5 years in a row, and this past trip to Viva was the best time she's ever had in Vegas. It was good to see her having so much fun.

The highlight of the trip for me ... geez, there were *so* many, but the best thing is what got *everyone* all over the country associate with Burlesque talking ... LoL, and I was standing right there, and didn't see a thing ... But, we were all standing at the corner bar across from the showroom and I had just walked up and Satan's Angel, the most popular "legend" was behind me. This woman is a hoot and can out drink any man on this board, I guarentee you. She'll out cuss you, too ... She's an awesome woman, and I'm proud to call her my friend. Hell, she used to date Elvis, Clint Eastwood, *and* Jim Morrison ... LoL ... but anyway, I walk up and was talking to Gypsy Louise, who had proposed to me the night before, and I hear some loud words, but in a casino, it's loud, and at Rockabilly Weekend, It's Very Loud, but I hear noise behind me, and I notice a drink spill and noise, and I thought it was a couple of drunks, etc, but I'm too busy making goo-goo eyes at the vintage vixen in front of me, and I feel something brush up against me and out of the corner of my eye I see Angel walk away. Well, LMAO ... a few minutes later, after those around me regained their composure, it turns out that that drunken estranged wife of the producer of the festival was stalking him and was looking for a fight, or to cause a scene as the guy was in a very public new relationship, and she was out for revenge. Well, she walks all over train of Angel's dress & feather boa in trying to get the seat that Angel was standing beside, and Angel said, WTF?? ... the drunk b!tch threw her drink on Angel, and Angel grabbed the girl by the back of her hair & shook her hard to the ground. LoL ... Her stature went through the roof in *everyone's* eyes, and it happened right behind me and I was too busy not to notice it ... LoL ... mind you, this woman is in her upper 60's and she put a beat-down on a woman 1/2 her age !!! LoL ... oh, it was a riot . . .

I "might" just for the showcase, if I'm asked to shoot it, as it was phenomenal ... eh, that and maybe to go see all the legends, as they are a hoot to hang-out with . . .

I wasn't going to go to the Burlesque Hall of Fame in June, but the girl who runs the joint asked me to shoot the show and then I found a free place to stay. So, I pretty much have to go.

After that, is the big New Orleans Burlesque Festival, which has quickly become the top festival, behind BHoF, due to my good friend, Producer of Bust-Out Burlesque, Rick Delaup . . .

BHoF is June 2nd-5th at the Orleans Hotel in Vegas and NOBF is Sept. 15-17 at Harrah's Casino & the House of Blues in the French Quarter. Both of these events are huge & I can't wait !!
