Nobody wants to be pigeon holed into a clear-cut classification, lest they be considered a mere follower.

But let's face it: the diagram is pretty friggin close to the truth.
And it's probably why most people consider themselves "independent" and unswayed by the media or other marketing forces.

Remove yourself from the Left or the Right, and look at any individual attribute listed. Then think whether you consider that trait as being predominantly left-minded or right-minded.

I think it's spot on, even though the vast majority of the people will either deny it outright, or nit-pick because they dissagree with individual aspects.
