I had one for quite a few years, until my wife decided it took up too much room in the garage. It was quite reliable mechanically, for a Jaguar. Mine was a 1965 model, and had a right hand drive. I believe the model ran from the late 50's to the late 60's. The view from the front is impressive, with a very distinctive grille.

The MKII was built from '59-67. I love the '63 inparticular! Would love to have a silver MKII with a leather oxeblood interior!! There is a company over yonder in England that is taking E-Types and upgrading the 12 cylinder drivetrain including a 5 speed tranny, suspension and brakes and 17" wire wheels...looks slick as snot!!

I had one of those..............although mine looked a lot more like an '89 Ford Tempo for some reason.
