Just when I started to soften up on my opinion of Bush, that serpent Cheney rears it's ugly head.

The discovery 911-Bush peice was interesting and admittedly made me appreciate him a bit more. I do think he is a good person. Watching the show that followed it on Saddam Hussein makes me happy he is no longer on this earth. Iraq was still a mistake though and was misrepresented by the administration. Meh. Oh well.

Cheney still smells like sulpher though. What a douche.

It was a good show. They are repeating it quite a bit. It did make me like geedubbya a bit more, or at least made me more sympathetic.

Cheney kills puppies and skulleffs them.

It was an interesting show and you could see just how difficult it was for him. And, it would have been difficult for any sitting President to have to deal with the aftermath of 911.

Cheney couldn't be killed - he's had like 3000 heart attacks and is still kicking. But, I suggest you be careful about what you say about him. The last guy who said something bad got shot with a shotgun........

I don't blame him for shooting him over the fish. Good fish shouldn't be ruined by overcooking. I kicked a waiter in the nuts for overcooking my scallops (they must be rare in the middle) and I think he got off lightly.....good thing I didn't have my shotgun handy......

You Chaney-haters need to wise up: Chaney's "irrational" need to go after Saddam has its roots in one unspoken piece of reality:

Saddam was up to his filthy little neck in terrorism.

And now that he's dead, his cult is dying off, and his supporters are falling away you're going to see all of these connections to terrorism start to leak out. The reality is that Saddam used terrorists for personal vendettas, and to extend the reach of his power without leaving any fingerprints behind. That's why people like Abu Nidal, Abu Abbas, and Carlos the Jackal have all been given sanctuary in Iraq.

Or maybe Saddam was just a "generous" guy and took these people in out of the goodness of his heart? Yeah, that's it.

Even now, people are beginning to revisit some of the more notorious terrorist events from the mid-Sixties on, and openly discuss Saddam's involvement. The fact of the matter is that you don't surround yourselves with terrorist organizations unless you intend on utilizing them at one point in time.

So if Chaney had a hard-on to go into Iraq, it is most likely because he (and a few others) had a little deeper background into the way Saddam Hussein operated.

And it very well may be possible that Saddam was actually linked to 9/11. Because, well, it seems SO unlikely for a guy who had an axe to grind with the United States to participate in an act like that.
