Leave it to a Packer Fan to forget to correct the number percentages when he's playing with the photoshop coloring book.

And to clarify: 43% is not equal to 90%.

Or as a Packer fan, maybe you'll understand it like this:

Let's say you're delivering your pizza, and it costs $10.

If the guy pays you $9, that's only 90%.

If he pays you $4.30 that's 43%.

Now, which guy paid you MOST of the money due?

Hint: It matters not which kind of CHEESE is on the pizza...

Tail, I think you posted on the wrong thread. Ummm... were are you getting 43% = 90% and how the he11 does the example relate?

This is simply a screen shot taken at 8:07:48 AM this morning after I placed my vote on the ESPN poll.

I'll try to explain how I think the map came to be. If the candidate wins the majority of the vote in the state he wins the whole state. Kinda like that electorial college thingy.

Bucky,

Look at the numbers on the left of the chart.

(Left is the hand that you don't wipe your a$$ with.)

Next time you spill the baby-sh*t yellow paint on the map, be sure to change the poll numbers to match your art work.

edit: and the "90%" that I reference was an estimate from the percent you painted yellow.

Thanks for the accusation but I didn't paint, photoshop... anything. Do yourself and your man crush a favor, head over to ESPN to help your hero out.

Here, I'll make it easier for you. Cut and paste the following link (cut = ctrl key + X, paste = ctrl key + V, note "+" means you have to touch them both at the same time)

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/polls

Click on "NFL at the lower right hand corner of the page (apparently you know which hand is the right hand). This will take you to the poll.

The following link will take you to the results with a similar picture that you see in the original post. I say similar because more votes have been cast since I took the screen shot but the results are the same.

??Anger??

I didn't realize it was a show of agression to bus the balls of a packer fan.

Of course, it would have helped if my attempt to show him up were based on the facts. I thought he fudged the packer stats on the map and forgot the listed values on the left.

My bad.

As for the results overall?

I don't pay any attention to these type of polls, especially so early in the year.

Nobody wins the award in October, and the award means nothing to me. I don't go to the games to root for our QB to win MVP or most yards or best hair.

I just want to see a victory, whether it's via the pass, the run, defense, special teams, luck, the weather or even the snow plow operator who is out on work furlough.

Yeah, I knew you were ball busting and are in complete denial that your binky might not hold the crown that the talking heads have given him over the years. Polls are just that, polls. Numbers and facts and speak the truth.

Career Passing Rating

Rank, Name (age), Rating, Playing years, team(s)

1. Aaron Rodgers, (27) 100.5 2005-2011 gnb

2. Steve Young, (ret) 96.8 1985-1999 2TM

3. Philip Rivers, (29) 96.6 2004-2011 sdg

4. Tom Brady, (33) 95.7 2000-2011 nwe

5. Tony Romo (30) 95.3 2004-2011 dal

6. Peyton Manning (34) 94.9 1998-2011 clt

7. Kurt Warner (ret) 93.7 1998-2009 3TM

8. Joe Montana,(ret) 92.3 1979-1994 2TM

9 (tie). Drew Brees (31) 92.1 2001-2011 2TM

Matt Schaub (29)

Manning holds the season high passing rating at 121.1, Rodgers currently sits at 124.6 for this year (I know it's a long year).

Rodgers has surpassed the great Brady in this Passer Rating since Rodgers became a starter. In fact Brady only broke a 100 rating once in his career, Manning 4 times, Montana 4, S. Young 8.

Rodgers? 3 of his 4 years as a starter. I think his best years are still to come. Scary thought huh?

Here's the thing: I'm a big homer. No denial there.

But I do try to remain consistent.

I never cared about stats and QB ratings early in Brady's career when his numbers made you yawn yet all he did was WIN.

We constantly laughed at the Manning crowd who would point to ratings and stats and everything else, yet we'd beat his azz every time.

So I find it more than just a little disturbing now since 2007 when Brady obliterated every "stat" and "record" in the book, that all of Patriot Nation has become a walking NFL stat machine.

It's a joke, and somewhat embarassing.

So you can go poking around for some sort of justification or MVP drivel, but I honestly don't care.

Note: All of the above is 100% true. But I am allowed to ignore this if I can use a stat or record to make others cry. Physically weep, with full chest heaves and tears. A small, short high pitched outburst is equally deserving.

I have found that the fans of Aaron Rogers don't cry quite as readily as those same fans during the Bret Favre tenure, even though they are the same fans.

I guess, like a fine cheese, even packer fans can mature.

I think you and I are pretty close in our thought process. Stats are one thing but winning is another. In a team sport yours stats and winning are intertwined with the performance of your teamates. You may be an awesome passer, but someone has to catch it and your line needs to block for you. You may be a great general and leader on the field but if your defense needs to perform too in order to win.

I have found that the fans of Bledsoe and Parcells were eager toss them under the bus and finger point as soon as this unknown saviors named Brady and Belichek came to town.

(side note: I intentionally threw Montana in the mix to see if MACS comes out of his cage).

the only stat that matters...Superbowl Wins

Rodgers has as many as Favre, Brees & Manning (either one)

but not as many as Montana, Bradshaw, Aikmen, Elway or Brady (yet)
