Hey, if HE wants to continue giving money to nations that don't really need it...let him.

He's confused Pauls foreign policy as being anti-semite...I'm glad Big Ben hasn't!

Wake up Bill, you're following Progressives!

Israel must need the money.....they keep asking for it and cashing the check each time!

Plus they're the only "Democracy" in the Middle East (Except all the other Democracies that held elections that didn't vote in pre-USA candidates!)

Tony Montana: What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of f%ckin' ****. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your f#ckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way!

I need to repost this because it is timely and I never got comments on it .

Let me channel Nostradamus for a moment. Obama is not stopping here. If the god of leftists is government, then he will be moving on to the UN next. I predict he will either attempt to be the head of the UN, or try to create an African Union.

Can we really afford to be propping up all these foreign countries......given that we can barely prop up our own?

NO.

But the real question is: Can we not to financially aid certain countries in terms of the potential consequences of failing to do so? No one knows what the blanket answer is. That is my concern.

I don't think an across the board, wholesale cut, all at once, would be smart. Each foreign country needs to be promptly evaluated on its own merits with a strong eye towards reduction and/or cuts. I am not talking about prolonged phase-outs, just well thought decisions.

I don't find it acceptable to stop aid to certain countries that truly need it for strategic political matters or certain social matters such as acts of god (earth quake, typhoon, etc.) famine and the like.

No more B.S. like Iraq and Afghanistan- sadly we forgot what we learned from Viet Nam and Korea!

I have confidence that this entire, serious budget mess and overspending will get resolved over time with both U.S. effort and the real end of this recession. Hopefully, we will remain cautious next time we have economic good times.

Think about this hypothetical: What should we do if Canada, probably our truest ally, biggest trading partner and most stable "friend" were suddenly in desperate need of foreign aid? 🤔
