Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. Figured I'd give you one more update on this. As you can see, it look MUCH better.

healing will continue for the next year. By then, the scars should not be noticable.

Today was the first day I'd gone without a bandage, and the poor kid at the gas station was pretty freaked.

Next time, I'll make sure my bangs are covering it. Poor kid.

Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby... Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then] Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?
[grabs Igor and starts throttling him]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Is that what you're telling me?

I love that movie. We quote it at work ALL of the time.

Scar does not bother me. It's the weird creepy crawly feelings on my scalp and forehead that bother me. That is from the nerves reconnecting. Funny, they forgot to mention that before the surgery. I'm happy with the results. I'm pretty sure that in a year, you won't even be able to see it. Just waiting now for it to heal enough to go to a new chiropractor. (last time I saw him, he was pressing on my forehead - 1 day after surgery. He felt horrible when he realized what he was doing) (grins)
