This is my next project, anyone have any ideas on how to seal the windows and doors to make a humidor out of it?

Simple silicone caulk, let it dry and out gas for at least a week. Don't use the expensive phenol caulk. Doesn't look like it is going to provide a ton of storage.

There is a certain type of aquarium glass glue that a lot of people have used. It's odorless and works extremely well. I'll try and find out the name, but you might want to try and look for some anyways.

Storages will be limited. Maybe a gun cabinet would work better. May want to line it with cedar.

Definately need to line it with sp. cedar, PM and I can give you the info on where I got mine for the Guni-Dor I just completed. Sealing it will be the real biotch. Can't seem to keep the humidity in the Guni-Dor up for more than a day or two and that is with Oasis XL and nearly 1lb of HF beads

Was going to line with cedar, (NJ PM will be sent soon). I only have a 100 count humidor and a 52 qt. coolidor now, so I figured I'd have some fun with the sons making the old china cabinet into a humidor. Just need to make some shelves in the man cave for my pint glasses. Thank you all for your input!

for the glass, as stated, calking. For the doors I would use weather stripping and a good clasp to hold shut.
Are you just converting the top, or trying for the bottom as well?

I'm going to convert the middle section to a wine rack and leave the bottom for regular storage for the time being.

Is that a stratocaster wedged between the wall and the soon to be cabinedor?

For the xbox, my stratocasters are tucked away safely in my bedroom.

Two pounds of beads will take care of that space without taking up too much real estate.
